Limekilnburn now & then.
In this picture is the little hamlet of Limekilnburn. The first picture was taken roughly between 1945 & 1948. The old houses now demolished and new ones occupy the land.

It’s my opinion that the photo of Limekilnburn dates to approximately 1959 and not 1947/48. I am almost certain one of the people in the photo is my late Brother. The figure on the roof I think is my late Uncle.
The photo is from the Hamilton Advertiser they may be able to put an accurate date on it.
