My parents bought their first house, round the corner, in Swift Bank when they married in 1966. They became life long friends with my ‘Aunt’ Fiona & ‘Uncle’ David who bought their first house in Bourtree Road. David & Fiona still live there today!
My relatives lived there from the mid sixties.We used to visit and stay with them(from Manchester)
They lived at the top of the hill (cul de sac) at number 79.
One of the houses in the first photo is my house. These photos are brilliant, thanks for sharing. If there are any more from the estate over the years Id love to see them!
