These will help build a picture of what life was like for them then. My Granda ( my late Ma’s Da) was Richard Innes Stewart his father William was a Coal Miner and a piper in 14th Battalion Royal Scots.
I live in Dumfries. My Granda was born in Hamilton in 1916. Albert Buildings. Just starting to do some research into his life before he moved here
