Haven’t thought about that place for years. I was a member of the ATC and stood with the squad for Armistice day at the Bothwell road memorial gardens. Training was fun but not carrying a full pack, we got to shot standard issue rifles and on one occasion an elephant gun. That pushed me back about three feet when lying in a prone position. Dissapointed in the end though failed the medical for the Air Force with my rheumatic fever history. Thanks for the memories Garry.
